I’m not to sure about everyone here reading this, but I know for myself, when I take a look into nature and the world that surrounds us I feel as if we don’t really take everything in. What I mean by that is that it’s so easy for people to get caught up in materialistic things such as houses, cars, vacations, etc., and not really focus on more important things such as family, embracing our surroundings, and becoming better people.
My dad always taught me that I need to respect nature and all things within it, and I couldn’t agree more. Our society thinks that it’s normal now to cut down forests and destroy landscapes in order to grow what they believe to be, a strong economy.
There are no efforts towards looking at how we can efficiently compromise and come up with a possible solution in which we can conserve our forests and also build our economy up at the same time. People are aways looking at new ways to expand and develop sites, yet don’t take into consideration the fact that they’re ruining animals homes during this process.
If you aren’t familiar with how rapidly we are destroying our landscapes and forests, or how quickly animal populations are dwindling, you should help yourself become informed. It has been on a consistent rise while the media continues to turn a blind eye to it and nobody takes any real action against these massive corporations who’re in charge of these massive jobs.
In order to change, we must all take a stand against these acts and bring this action to light. Nothing will change if people aren’t properly informed on how it will effect them and their children in the future. It may not seem like a big deal right now, however, down the road the outcomes of these events could be catastrophic.
